 As part of the 4funding offering we are offering every club or good cause a free homepage facility. The homepage can be downloaded/saved by the supporters onto their PC(s) so whenever they open up an Internet browser they will be reminded of your club or cause and to shop for you. This will help eliminate those who just simply forget to go via your portal. Experience tells us forgetfulness is the main reason people do not use the portal everytime they shop online.
The homepage will have local news and weather automatically fed into it as well as a Google Search facility for those that like to have their homepage set to a search engine. There will also be links to other popular pages such as MSN, Yahoo and Facebook etc. Sponsors of your cause will have their adverts on one side to show their support and supporters will also be able to see if there are any new messages for them in the message centre.

• Supporters load a browser window with your cause displayed to remind them to use your shopping portal - reduces potential for lost commissions
• Supporters get local news and weather displayed as well as Google search - less reluctance to change their present homepage settings
• Supporters can see if there are any new messages for them - allows quicker and easier communication.
• If supporters are told to use the message centre then only one message needs sending for everyone (i.e. a football club may cancel a game or training at the last minute due to weather, if supporters check before they leave for the match they will see the news and the club only has to write one message) - saves time and effort for the club as well as expense for the volunteers if text messaging is the normal way of communicating..
• Sponsors get more coverage - more likely to sponsor.
